Shell Houston Open Past Champions and Record

The Shell Houston Open has been playeda'in various formsa'since 1922, when it absolutely was the Independent Insurance Agent Open. It became the Houston Open in 1930. Curtis Strange (1980), Lee Trevino (1980) and Vijay Singh (2002) support the record for lowest aggregate rating, at 266. Legendary amateur player Frank Stranahan finished 2nd in 1952.
