Joselu backs Klopp for Real Madrid post - Goal.com America

The Hoffenheim attacker feels the Dortmund boss would be ideal for los Blancos and believes the Liga side is favorites in the Champions League semifinal

Mourinho is continually being linked with a summer exit and reiterated earlier this week that he will sit down with club president Florentino Perez at the end of the season to discuss his future.

Joselu, who left Madrid for Hoffenheim for 6 million euros last summer, believes the Dortmund boss would be the ideal candidate to replace the Portuguese at the helm of the Spanish giants, telling Goal.com: "Klopp is a coach of the highest level. That's clear for all to see. Many names are being linked to the job and I think Klopp would be a good option.

"Everybody talks about the way he treats his players. He's very close to them and always sincere. I believe this can be seen on the pitch. He knows a lot about football. Just look at how he has Dortmund playing. They are unstoppable when they are at their best."

He continued to explain, "However, Madrid already have a good coach at the moment and I don't think he's leaving. Mourinho remains the best option for now."

Joselu, 23, believes Klopp's Dortmund side will find it tough against his former side in the upcoming Champions League semifinal.

"Madrid are always the favourites, against any opponent," he stated. "Dortmund are on fire, though, and are a complicated opponent. Real were unable to beat them in the group stages. Borussia are a team that keeps on fighting for the full 90 minutes. Their players are incredibly determined.
