Manchester United tale Paddy Crerand believes Darren Fletcher has performed his last game for the Premier League winners, with injuries and disease taking their toll on his profession. Crerand informed beyondthepitch.net: "I love Darren Fletcher and I hate to state this, but I would not be prepared to see him playing again for Manchester United. It is a terrible thing to say and I trust I am totally wrong, but I do not think I'm likely to be wrong. The 29-year-old hasn't featured since December as a result of his ulcerative colitis situation, and based on the 1968 European Cup champion, he'll not function for Sir Alex Ferguson's side again. "He isn't been heard of, he is not played anywhere, he's not done something and I believe if he did come back it'd be considered a wonder. [Especially] for someone for whom fitness has been the key thing in their life, since to become a professional footballer you have to be greatly healthy, more so than many sports," Crerand discussed. "I feel, outside of boxing it is the fittest game of the large amount of them. Therefore for never to have the ability to do this and keep yourself [in shape]. Even at my age, how foolish I'm, I'm in the gymnasium every day." Follow GOAL.COM on Facebook
