Chelsea and Manchester City target Mario Gomez has given the greatest indicator yet that he is making Bayern Munich in summer time. Calciomercato are reporting that the Germany striker is selling his home in Munich and is preparing to move away from the Bundesliga. Both Chelsea and Manchester City have now been credited with an interest in Gomez but this report claims Serie A factors Juventus and Napoli may also be having a keen interest. Chelsea were recently reported to possess made Gomez their backup choice when they don't land first choice goal Radamel Falcao of Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, Manchester City is likely to be trying to restore greatly this summer after having a discouraging protection of their Premier League title this period. Roberto Mancini was not able to restore Mario Balotelli when he was sold to AC Milan in January and Gomez would provide some necessary extra firepower in attack. Gomez has had to play 2nd fiddle to Mario Mandzukic this season at Bayern, evening although he was on the scoresheet in the amazing 4-0 thrashing of Barcelona on Tuesday.
