Phoenix Coyotes compared to. Detroit Red Wings: Stay Score, Updates & Evaluation

The Detroit Red Wings will host the Phoenix Coyotes tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET at the Joe Louis Arena. This is a game for both teams. The Red Wings see their playoff ability (21 straight seasons in the playoffs) hanging in the balance with tonight's game. They're currently three factors back of the last playoff spot (held by the Columbus Blue Jackets), with two games at your fingertips on the Blue Jackets. The Red Wings have four games remaining, meaning they are able to control their very own destiny through winning games. The Coyotes are not so fortunate. Even though Coyotes have not been removed from playoff contention, they're five points out of the playoffs with only four games remaining. If Phoenix wins the remaining four games on its schedule, the Coyotes would still need some help enter the playoffs. Although the playoffs have not started yet, expect you'll view a playoff-like atmosphere today, because it nearly win-or-go-home time for both teams. Hold it here for pregame and postgame research, along side sport changes and scoring plays.
