Rumour Mongering: Baseless Nonsense Version - The Liverpool...

With the Liverpool Offside community involved in a fraught civil war as a result of the March Madness forms, allow once we agree totally that nobody knows in regards to the summer move window anything me to use the soothing balm of agreement. Huzzah! The British philosopher Bertrand Russell was never more appropriate than when he believed that "there is a lot satisfaction to be gained from worthless knowledge." Sadly, there will be no real knowledge today to discuss about it being offered here, but I could attest to the uselessness of the wild theories and this latest trawl that will be made up by plausible suggestions through the potential shift machinations of Liverpool Football Club in summer time. Let us start with probably the most crazypants rumour of all; the one which won't disappear completely. As Xabi Alonso hasn't yet agreed conditions with Real Madrid, The Mirror seems to believe it is completely believable that the classy Spaniard may go back to Anfield. This reason features a specious veneer of plausibility, what with the player's past associations, the control soccer Brendan Rodgers favours and the visible of the EPL. They speculate about an 8.5 million pound transfer price for the 31 year old. There are several more serious promoters of The Cult of Xabi than this scribbler, but such a transfer seems very unlikely for numerous reasons and if we are to be coldly negative, the club are obviously more in need of a Javier Mascherano-type player than the more cultured owner he used to associate in the Liverpool midfield. Only slightly less bonkers may be the story connecting Edinson Cavani with Liverpool. This has some obscure foundation in fact with the Uruguayan's representative Claudio Annelucci expressing the 25 year old "wants to perform in England" and that "Liverpool and Arsenal will be the first groups Cavani has consented to talk to." Leaving aside any fanciful notions about linking up with his lover Luis at Anfield, the striker, who has 57 goals in 81 hearings, is one of many world's most sought-after advantages and would likely control the type of charge that would be beyond Liverpool. 'Random Defender to Liverpool' experiences are thin on the floor this week. Just Sky Sports have any hyperlinks to the liverpool rearguard. They suggest Marseille full straight back Nicolas N'koulou will be prepared to proceed to the EPL if his present team wished to cash in on him. The 23 year old Cameroon global would without doubt supply a reasonable team solution but this isn't anyone to excite the internal fanboy/girl in us all. Sadly, the prior stories connecting Liverpool with Feyenoord's Stefan de Vrij and Vasco da Gama's Dede appear to have gone away for the time being. Failure to recapture them, at least, provided the chance of genuine dissatisfaction, unlike the vague discomfort many felt at losing out to Southampton for Vegard Forren. Sticking to The Saints, The Daily Star could have us think that Brendan Rodgers is considering a move for Jay Rodriguez. The 23 year old scored a superb purpose against Liverpool recently and moved from his city club, Burnley, last summer. The paper indicates on he that was brought by the seven million pound fee to Southampton, if the Reds desire to land the kid it'd involve an increase. Talksport has acquired on some complimentary responses created by Brendan Rodgers about Andreas Weimann after the Aston Villa game and turned them into a clear sign that the Liverpool manager wants to sign the young Austrian, while Metro continue to link the Anfield membership with Wilifried Bony, the Ivory Coast global, who has 42 goals in 60 suits for Vitesse Arnhem. Final history for this edition comes again from The Daily Star who report that Liverpool and Tottenham are generally following the wonderfully monikered 17 year old Nigerian, Moses Daddy-Ajala. Frankly, this really is one shift fight with the Londoners that the team must win because were he to produce it at Anfield, nothing could prevent me from buying that top. Nothing. With all Liverpool's loanees near return, enough time is coming for the boss to take stock of what he's at his disposal. Does The Big Lug have a future at the club? Will Wee Jay once again bestride the midfield such as a (ahem) colossus? Will Dani Pacheco be loaned out to all or any 92 League clubs? Let's hope, that as he analyzes his options along with his recently established exchange board, for another window, Brendan Rodgers will be a bit more reasonable and imaginative than the varied dolts whose crazy cogitations have interested us for the previous couple of moments.
