Match Report: Bristol Town 1 Bolton Wanderers 2

Bolton obtained early and late to move into the playoff areas with only four and get abroad for the last time this season suits to go. In since Bolton like to begin their rating early, recent months Bolton Wanderers supporters have discovered to reach at the park early on match days. Today was no different. Approximately ninety seconds in to the fit Darren Pratley place in what appeared to be a relatively tame corner. However for Bristol City, opponent Liam Fontaine's head was still in the changing room, and he diverted the corner into his or her own net. 1-0 Bolton. After the target, a bit was played by both teams on edge. The visitors actually focused ownership, but created a bit more when compared to a few long range efforts. They got on the counter attack, when the house area did have opportunities. Their threat male was Albert Adomah, who caused problems with his trickery and pace. The initial half wasn't a brilliant display of football. An own goal, pouring rain, and two groups on the edge of disaster left us with a nervy forty-five minutes. The second forty-five could be far better. Town came out burning, and it was turned by their aggressive play into an end-to-end matter. Suddenly, your home side was dominating possession, developing chances, and ostensibly putting Adam Bogdan and Bolton's protection under stress. The target was plainly coming, and Steven Davies brought them level five full minutes after the break. For a depressing spell it seemed as though the sides would share the points which, to be perfectly honest, would not have helped either of them. Marvin Sordell was sacrificed for Craig Davies. Sordell had been active, threatening together with his speed, and he set the ball in the net, nonetheless it was disallowed, one of many repeatedly the young striker was captured offside. It was Sordell's attack companion, David Ngog, who made the big difference. He was brought down in the field at the second. The assistant referee actually gave the fee. Worryingly, Chris Eagles was loitering across the penalty area with intention. In a moment of clarity, Craig Davies was opted for to take the location stop. He sent a rocket down the middle and into the top of the web. Town used forward everything they'd for the last ten minutes roughly, but Bolton kept solid. The win gets the Trotters on 63 details, sixth in the dining table, with four suits left. That is right, sixth in the table. The final playoff spot. The Mighty Bolton Wanderers get a grip on their own fate. Add this to the headlines that Stu Holden has all but signed a new deal, and it's been a pretty good week for our small Lancashire membership. I posed the question in this week's match preview of whether Dougie Freedman had certainly developed a new character in this side, or when they were still Owen Coyle's boys, and today the solution was obvious. The next away win of the summer season is in the books, and a huge showdown with Leicester City is merely days away.
