Tottenham struggled back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Basel but midfielder Gareth Bale was taken off in stoppage time after hurting his right leg in the Europa League match. Though the injury appeared critical, the membership hopes it will only keep him out for just two suits. "There is plenty of swelling and the pain is clearly very, very large but we hope to examine him tomorrow," Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas said.
