The 18-year-old joined the Iron initially for a month at the end of February but parent club Stoke City have agreed the Iron's request for him to remain for the remaining seven matches.
He came off the bench to head home a consolation goal for the Iron against Hartlepool United on his debut, but has not figured in each of the club's past two matches.
