FONTANA, Calif. (AP) a' Kyle Busch acquired his first victory at Fontana on Sunday after opponents Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano destroyed on the last lap in an exciting NASCAR finish. While they ran side-by-side in the final lap of their first race considering that the people challenged each other a week ago at Bristol Hamlin and Logano created contact. Logano hit the exterior wall and Hamlin hit the within wall, with Hamlin leaving the program within an ambulance. Tony Stewart then challenged Logano following the competition and shoved the younger driver before they were pulled by teammates apart. Logano blocked Stewart out of a late restart. Busch brought the absolute most laps and took advantageous asset of his amazing stroke of fortune to grab Joe Gibbs Racing's first success at Fontana, the sole course where in actuality the staff had never acquired. "They forgot about me. I knew they certainly were planning to," Busch said. "We had a great run on the most effective part, and they were playing with each other so poor that they took each other down. I was just hoping I might get by before they took me with him." Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished second and took over the lead in the points standings despite falling from third to 22nd late in the battle with a gloomy pit stop. Kurt Busch came in third, with Carl Edwards next and Greg Biffle fifth facing Logano. Kyle Busch's victory was his 25th in NASCAR, doing a week-end sweep after his Nationwide Series victory Saturday. He ended a 31-race Cup winless streak since last April at Richmond. A week ago at Bristol, Hamlin spun Logano while Logano was rushing Jeff Gordon for the cause. Hamlin believed Logano had cut him off 3 times early in the day in the battle, but Logano went over to Hamlin's car afterward and leaned in his window for an angry exchange ahead of the teams pulled them apart. Their final-lap theatrics at Fontana mostly seemed to be motivated by intense racing for a gain in a back-and-forth battle on a broad two-mile track. Hamlin's accident was more remarkable than Logano's contact with the wall, with Hamlin's car going head-on in to the inside wall. Hamlin got herself out from the car, but then declined to the bottom beside it before medical help came. NASCAR didn't instantly have an update on his condition. "Reverse of last week, opposite of what he did last week," Logano said. "So that is what he gets." Logano then found myself in a match with Stewart, who also had a late guide. Logano went exceedingly low to block Stewart out of a late system, and Stewart was mad.
