Brown wins 2nd Daytona 500; Patrick finishes 8th

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) a Jimmie Johnson has won his second Daytona 500, rushing past protecting NASCAR winner Brad Keselowski on the final restart, while Danica Patrick finished eighth. Brown was not challenged over the final six laps Sunday, introducing another 500 title to choose his 2006 success. This time team key Chad Knaus can enjoy it a' he was suspended by NASCAR for the very first success. Dale Earnhardt Jr. made a late proceed to finish second, but did not challenge his Hendrick Motorsports teammate for the glory. Mark Martin was third. Patrick was next on the ultimate lap, but faded in the quantity lately action. She became the first woman ever sold to cause laps in the Daytona 500, though, with her three laps out front.
